Is everything really free?
Yes, of course it is! I think ringtones are much too expensive ($2.99), and they aren't even for a life time... you can only download them for 90 days or something. On rsWAP, ringtones are free because I believe it's another way of promoting artists! You hear a ringer you like, and you may actually look into some music by artists you never even knew of. All the other downloads such as screensavers, sound effects and forms of entertainment are of course free as well. Since there is no ringtone expiration, if your phone is full, delete some ringtones, download new ones, and if you ever have the urge to download an older song, it will be right here waiting for you... way past the 90 days :)

Why become a member?
Members have access to everything, including forms of entertainment, tools and applications. Also, there are some new features I'm toying with in my head, and they will only be available for members.

Descriptor Error 906?
Some people are getting the "descriptor error 906" when trying to download a file, and here is why: When designing the descriptor files, you can use two types of URL's... absolute ones (www.domain.com/file.gcd) or relative ones (file.gcd). I used to use all absolute links, but since I've changed servers, I use now relative URL's because they are easier to maintain when change comes around. Some phones are not understanding the "relative" path to the content file, therefore you get an error. Unfortunately this website is designed for the SCP-8400, which is the phone I have, and I make sure it is 100% compatible, but since I'm not making any profit of my site, it would be too time consuming to make this web page more universal then I'm already achieving for it to be. Sorry guys!

How do I download files here?
Although you can visit this website from your computer, the easiest way, and really the only way (for beginners anyway) is to visit rsWAP on your mobile phone, and then you just click a link... whether it's a ringtone or any other file, and it will then alert you that this content here is not trustworthy according to Sprint, but that's because this is not a Sprint website. The content is safe and OK to download, so go ahead and click on continue to download it anyway. The file will be downloaded in the appropriate folder on your phone. On the SCP-8400 you go to the main menu, and then hit "My Content" and there is going to be a "+" sign wherever you have new files that haven't been opened yet.

How do I register for an account?
I took open registrations up to 100 users, but as of now, you can only get an account through an invitation from an existing member. You will need their username and the current codeword from the rsWAP member section. If you have all that, Register Here.

rsWAP, Waptoys, Gatebot?
OK, let me explain. rsWAP is what the website is called. I don't care how you get there... with which URL, rsWAP is what you're looking at, where you're downloading from, and what you love :) . Waptoys is just the "easy to remember" domain you're using to visit rsWAP. When you go to Waptoys, it's redirecting you to Gatebot, which is where rsWAP is stored. You could directly type in gatebot/rswap but that's more typing then Waptoys. Also, should I change where I'm located again, Gatebot will be invalid, whereas Waptoys will always be updated accordingly.

How many ringtones can my phone hold?
Well, it depends on a few factors... how many games, apps, and screensavers you have, and also whether you store your pictures/videos on a miniSD card or not. I have a 2 GB miniSD, which holds over a days worth of video (24h+) and over 1,000 pictures. On my phone I have about 9 games, 2 themes, 94 screensavers (of which 6 are animated), 10 apps... with all this, my average is probably around 120 ringtones from rsWAP. If you had nothing BUT ringtones, you could fit many more. Also, if you download from other sites that maybe only make 20sec ringers, or QCP ringers, you could even fit more, but my info is assuming rsWAP ringers, which are much higher in quality.

How do I get an invite?
It's not a question of how or where you get an invite. If you're friends with someone who has an account, they can invite you to access the members only section, which provides a ton more content. If you found this site on Google or something, you'll just have to Google for some rsWAP friends :)
